What lovely weather we're having lately! Makes such a nice change, although it's not very nice at work, lol! :P
Today I have some lovely polishes that I have bought recently and I couldn't wait to try!
On Wednesday last week, Barry M released 4 limited edition summer shades, 2 in Superdrug and 2 in Boots. If you spend £6 in Superdrug, you can get a limited edition polish for free or you can just buy them for £3.99 each. In Boots, they don't have an offer so you just buy them if you want them.
I got both of the polishes that Superdrug had to offer, as well as a couple of new lip products they have just released.
Barry M Promenade is a lovely bright shimmery pink which is perfect for summer and can I just say, LOOK AT THE LID! <3 I love these extra touches that Barry M do for us, it makes it look so pretty when they're altogether on my nail polish rack. :D I used only one coat for this picture! Great coverage and good drying time as well! Winner!!
Over Barry M, I painted with a new polish I got in Asda on Friday. It's from the Limited Edition Champagne collection, although it only consists of two nail polishes, a pink glitter and a gold glitter, so I don't know if that counts as a 'collection' but anyway, it is one of the most sparkly glitter polishes I have ever seen! I knew I had to have it! Although this was £3 I did think twice as I think it's a little steep for a supermarket polish (compared to normal Barry M nail paints at £2.99 and their quality is fantastic.)
It's a beautiful pink glitter with holographic glitters and larger holographic circle glitters.
At first I was very keen to see if it was a dupe for OPI's Teenage Dream (my favourite polish of all time, now discontinued) but when I put them side by side, it is clear that they aren't dupes but this is a fairly decent copy. Teenage Dream has a light pink base and smaller sized circle glitter whereas this is in a clear base with just the large circle glitters.
It's still so pretty and very sparkly, which is why the picture is slightly out of focus, I wanted to show you just how it catches the light! <3 I used one coat for the picture.
On my accent nail I used Dollish Polish Endless Love. I bought this from Mei Mei Signatures which is based in Singapore, as Dolly had sent her Valentines collection to them as a store exclusive and because I missed it on Dolly's website at valentines, I was all over it!! Hahaha!
I love this polish, it's so pretty, it has white matte hearts, bows, small and large squares and small hexes, with small matte pink and light pink hexes filled with iridecent glitter, all in a clear base. I didn't have to fish to get any of these glitters out but I did have it turned up side down for a few minutes before I applied it. This is just one coat.
I am very happy with how this turned out and the sun is making the sparkles really shine! :D
Hope you are all well, take care! xx
