Nail Pattern Boldness - Hello, Sweetie.

You'll be glad to hear that I am back with a nail polish to show you today! If you have gathered by now, other than nail polish, my other interests are Batman and music, particularly Pop. Well, today you will learn something new (if you don't know me in real life) and that is, I also LOVE Doctor Who. I am devastated that Matt Smith has left and I thought the 50th Anniversary episode was the best I have seen.

Another favourite is a character this time, who goes by the name of River Song. I love everything about her, she's so bad ass and everything I'd want to be as a woman (except a murderer, although it wasn't her fault.) I love the chemistry between her and The Doctor, it's a truly beautiful relationship that had me in tears many of times.

All this leads to my nail polish! I have to confess, I did buy this mainly for the name but upon application, I was pleasantly surprised!!

First, I applied 1 coat of Barry M Bright Purple as a base, so I didn't have as many layers of glitter when it comes to removal! After that had dried, I put on one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Hello, Sweetie. I had no issues whatsoever with trying to get any glitter out, it wasn't thick and drying time was good.

 

 

I don't normally but polishes that have gold or bronze in it, as I just don't care for those colours, but as I said, I did but this for the name even though it had quite a bit of bronze glitter in it. After applying this, I have to say that I honestly don't mind that they're there. I don't feel it looks ugly or ruins the polish in any way. There are quite large and medium bronze hex glitters, with smaller black square glitters and even smaller red hex glitters with a scatter of small black and bronze glitter.
 

I feel as though this is a sexy polish which is much like River herself, but I'm not sure I would have known straight away that this was inspired by River, looking at the polish alone. I think the bronze represents her hair and the red for her lipstick and the black, maybe for her gun and I don't know about the purple but I don't mind as it's my favourite colour! :P
