Dollish Polish - A Unicorn Farted In My Polish.

Hello everyone!


I am back fresh from a little holiday, ready to talk to you about more nail polish! Yaaayy!

Today, I would like to show you a polish that I have been dying to try but not found the right time or opportunity to wear such a glitter bomb of a polish, until my holiday! I thought that it would be the perfect manicure, full of fun glitters and multicoloured shapes.

I layered 1 coat of 'A Unicorn Farted in my Polish' over 2 coats of Barry M 'SLE 2013 A' (A limited edition shade released last year in Superdrug.)

I will TRY to describe all of the glitters that are in this polish but please forgive me if I miss one or two... So, there are: small matte white squares, larger half moons, stars and larger rectangles. Neon yellow tiny glitters and medium hexes. Neon blue tiny glitters, medium hexes and larger hearts. Neon green tiny glitters, small squares and hexes, larger hexes and even larger stars and hexes. Neon pink tiny glitters, small hexes and squares, medium hexes, large hexes and stars. Neon red tiny glitters, small, medium and large hexes. Translucent neon purple tiny glitters and small hexes and a load of tiny glitters and iridecent squares. I THINK thats it!!

 

As this is so glitter dense, you do have to 'fish' for the larger glitters if you really want them to come out of the bottle, but that's easily sorted by turning the bottle upsidedown for a few minuites. Personally I think this polish is better layered over a colour and you do only need one coat of the glitter, any more and it will be just too much. (Coming from CrazyGlitterLady!) Drying time was normal and I would recommend using either Nail Pattern Boldness' Glitter Food or an equivelant, as the larger glitters can stick up off the nail and be quite scratchy.

I really do love this polish, anything bright and fun is right up my street and a lot of other peoples it seems as this is always sold out on Dolly's website. It took me several attempts to get this but I managed to finally score a bottle in a flash sale a couple of months back! :D
