Barry M - Huckleberry and Rose Hip with Dollish Polish Care Bear Stare and OPI Let's Do Anything We Want!

Hello!
How are you? Well, I hope! :) Looking forward to Easter as next week, I have a whole week off from work AND I'm going to see McBusted! Wahoooooooooo!! My 13 year old self would have never believed me if I would have told her that Busted and McFly would become one band AND tour 10 years later!! I think she'd explode. Tbh, my 23 year old self is JUST about contained!!!

Anyway, as you can see from this very long title, I have a few polishes to talk about today! :D
It's because I really couldn't decide on which colours to wear this week, so I thought I'd wear them all! I don't think it looks bad, either!

Huckleberry is a very light blue - I think. Sometimes it plays tricks on me and looks like a very pale green! This polish is from Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine range and is one of three new colours that has been added to the line for Spring. I didn't really look at this polish much when it first came out, it wasn't until I saw a lot of interest from a Facebook group that I'm in that made me go back and have a look at all of the Gelly Nail Paints again.
So, I originally I had 5 of these polishes. Well, I now have 10 Gelly Nail Paints!! :O Haha.
Anyway, I like Huckleberry's colour (whatever it may be!) but I did find application a little tricky to paint neatly. As you can see around my middle finger, around the cuticle, I just could not make it neat, without flooding the cuticle like I did on my little finger.
It was patchy on the first coat, but evened out on the second. Drying time was not as quick as some but not too long, either. It did dry to a very high shine but I forgot to take a pic of it on it's own. :(
Care Bear Stare is a beautiful glitter topper full of pastel blue, pink and purple bows, starts, hexes, squares and small glitters. I couldn't decide whether to put this over the pink or blue. I think next time I will try it over the pink, to see what that combination looks like! :)
I did have to do a little fishing to get certain colours that I wanted, but that was just me being fussy. The picture shows one coat of glitter.

Rose Hip is a gorgeous pastel pink. I liked it that much, that I needed to have it on my thumb as well as my accent nail!! I love both of these colours together, they are so Spring-y and I really am in the mood for Easter, now!
I had less difficulty applying this polish but it was still not perfect. Again, it was patchy on the first coat but fully opaque by the second. Drying time, again wasn't fast, but not ages either.

Let's Do Anything We Want! Is another glitter topper but this time has light pink and white glitters with white matte square glitters, I do have two on each pink nail but you can just about see one on my ring finger. :( This is one coat of glitter.

I hope that you enjoy this post, and whatever you're doing over the weekend, have a great Easter and get lots of chocolate eggs!!!! :D

xx
