Barry M - Seaside, Dollish Polish - Kerulie and The Deathly Hallows.

I'm a little overdue with my post and for that I am sorry, but I was waiting and waiting for the postman to bring me a parcel that was nothing short of perfection!

For my birthday my bestie asked me what I wanted and I honestly couldn't think of anything, until she said: "What about Nail Polish?" Like I need asking twice, right?!

So, we made a date for us to sit and choose which polishes to get from Dollish Polish. (A dream come true!) I had picked a full size of 'The Deathly Hallows', a Harry Potter inspired polish from The Ultimate Fandom Collection as well as a mini polish of 'Honey, You Should See Me in a Crown' based on Sherlock's enemy Moriarty. Then we had the idea to create a custom shade! It was so fun to make it with my best friend and I am super happy with how it turned out! I love it so so much!!

 

We took a long time to name the polish, but we decided on 'Kerulie' as it's our names merged together and it sounds hilarious, but don't let that distract you from her beauty!!
'Kerulie' has a Cerulean blue shimmer base with tiny silver holographic glitter, small holo circles, pink metallic hearts and purple metallic stars.
I can't explain how shocked at how beautiful the blue is in this polish, it's beyond anything I could've imagined. It's just so stunning!!! It took two coats to be opaque and I had to fish a couple of times to get the glitters I wanted. I pushed them around the nail a little for placement and I think this covered
up the glitters with excess nail polish, so I know to wipe my brush a little better next time. :D

I really wanted to use another polish that my friend got for me, so I used two coats of Barry M Seaside (Superdrug Summer Limited Edition) and topped it with The Deathly Hallows. It's a perfect resemblance to the symbol of The Deathly Hallows and that's why I love it so much. It consists of holo bar glitter with holo doughnut glitters and triangle holo glitters with a great amount of holo. I only needed one coat for the pics above and I cannot wait to wear this over all different colours!

I think it's fair to say that my friend knows me very well and I am very lucky to have someone do this for me, I will look at our custom shade and always remember my birthday with such excitement and joy. :D
