I've not long been back from a week away to a Havens park called Allhallows. It was the hottest week of the year so far and I enjoyed every minute of it!
Today I would like to show you a couple of polishes that Revlon released recently. One was from the Spiderman collection and the other from a tweed inspired collection.
Gwens Crush is a deep berry pink that has tons of shimmer which catches the light beautifully. I think this collection was promoted as a 'duo-chrome' effect and to be honest, I wouldn't say that this is the strongest duo-chrome that I own. I feel that you can only see it in the shade which is a shame but it doesn't take anything away from the polish for me, personally. I really do love the way it looks in the sun, it's just a very shimmery, pretty polish to wear.
This was two coats of polish and dry time was normal.
Uptown is a pink and purple bar glitter polish. If anyone knows me at all they will know that they are two of my favourite colours, so when I saw this polish on the shelf in Boots, I totally did not hesitate in the slightest.
I didn't have any problems with the glitter sticking up off my nail and I didn't really need to manipulate the polish on my nail, either. I just used one coat of polish and dry time was normal.
Sidenote: you can see the duo-chrome better in this picture, the flashes of purple are very pretty but just not very visable most of the time.
