Hello everyone,
I cannot tell you how excited I am for this post today!
I made an order through Dolly's website at the beginning of March when this amazing duo was released, and I finally received them on Saturday.
I couldn't wait any longer and I am now wearing these beautiful polishes! :D
This is the start of a series of polishes called 'Famous Couples Throughout History'.
Dolly and Jen kick-started with Romeo & Juliet and they are very limited edition, sold only as a set, exclusive to both Dolly's and Jen's websites.
I have quite a few Dollish Polishes now, but this is my first from Jindie Nails, so I was very excited to try a new indie brand, especially in this exciting set!
Juliet was made by Jindie Nails, described as a 'Medium radiant orchid creamy base with
navy and violet micro flakies and sprinkled with periwinkle, lilac, magenta and sapphire small hexagon glitters'. (Taken from the back of the Authentication card.)
I completely agree with that statement, although I never would have been able to pin-point all of those colours with my eyes alone! :P
I don't have a single polish like this in my collection, it's definitely unique and I couldn't bare to hide the beautifully complex but yet simple polish, hence just the accent nail and the thumb with the glitter!
I originally thought it was going to be a little tricky to apply because when I took the brush out of the bottle, it was loaded with polish! But as I applied the polish it was effortless, so easy to work with and not thick at all! The picture is of two coats. :)
Romeo was made by Dolly. This is a glitter topper designed to compliment Juliet (duh! :P) or any other colour if you so wish.
This glitter is 'jam packed with shades of turquoise, sapphire, magenta, purple and violet hexagon shreds and dots, with black matte stars, hearts and skulls.' (Also from the card.)
The glitter has every colour I love, I cannot get over how beautiful it is. It is very sparkly but without taking away from the glitter shapes themselves.
I am also very excited to own a glitter that has skulls in it as well!! It is just so perfect for someone like me.
This is simply one coat over Juliet, on three nails there was no fishing required but on the last thumb, I was being picky and I wanted a heart. :P
I found it a little difficult to see what was on my brush while I was fishing as a black brush + black glitters = invisible! Haha but I got there in the end and I absolutely love the end result!
I just want to show you all the wonderful extra bits you get when you order one of these sets.

I just love all the exra finishing touches, it really feels like you are getting a lot of value for your money. As I said at the beginning, these were limited sets, I'm not sure how many was actually made but I was number 72!
This particular set is sold out now but they hadve just announced the next famous couple set as Bonnie & Clyde! Check out their websites or instagrams for more details!
Thank you for reading through this post if you go this far!
Take care, Kerry :D xx
